Tree Designers
There are many opportunities to participate in the Festival of Trees & Lights. You may choose to decorate a tree, wreath or swag. You can also participate by sponsoring a tree or wreath or by donating to our Sweet Shop. Your designs or donations become your gift to the festival, which sells the items to benefit Kosair Children’s Hospital.
Designer applications for the 2012 Festival of Trees & Lights will be taken this summer. You may choose to decorate a 2-foot, 3-foot and 4-foot (limited quantity) tree, a wreath or a swag. If you would like to be notified when applications are available, please send us an email.
Designers receive artificial greenery and lights (for trees) from the festival in September and return a fully decorated item on the Tuesday and Wednesday before the festival. You will be notified of important dates related to greenery pickup, drop-off and on-site decorating.
Businesses and other organizations can help too.
Design a tree with items from your business to showcase your products or services. Ideas include:
- Gift certificates
- Product samples
- Autographed merchandise
- ... or anything else that fits on your tree or wreath!
Assistance from a designer is available, or you can simply decorate your own tree or wreath.
Without the artistic talent and creativity of volunteer tree and wreath designers, the Festival of Trees & Lights would not be as successful!
