Just for Kids Running Team
Now that you’ve made the commitment to run in the marathon/miniMarathon, consider joining the “Just for Kids” Running Team and raise funds to support Kosair Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Hospital Foundation. Make new friends and help out a great cause while you pursue your fitness goals!
Owen McMasters, 12, was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in November 2011. After chemotherapy and radiation treatments at the Addison Jo Blair Cancer Care Center at Kosair Children’s Hospital, Owen has made a lot of progress in his battle against cancer— but he is not finished. Owen still has more than two years of chemotherapy to undergo. With the support of his family and Kosair Children’s Hospital, Owen continues to fight.
We’d love to have you join us in our mission to ensure life-saving care is always available for the more than 140,000 children who come to Kosair Children’s Hospital each year regardless of their families’ ability to pay. Be a hero to kids like Owen!
- Feel great about completing the challenge
- Be part of a team of runners and walkers who share your goals
- Make a difference for thousands of kids in the region like Owen who rely on the expert care at Kosair Children’s Hospital
