"Just for Kids" Hospitalists Program

Caring for children is what we do best at Kosair Children's Hospital, and our hospitalists program is one way we ensure all our patients receive the help they need during their stay.

Our hospitalists, or inpatient physicians, spend most or all of their workdays in the hospital, and therefore are readily available to patients and their families.

Any physician is welcome to refer a patient to our program which strives to provide quality pediatric care while improving communications with referring physicians.

• Attending physicians are readily available and on-site when complications occur at times when you may find it difficult to leave your office.
  
• Hospitalists give you more uninterrupted time to see patients in your office; reduce the number of hospital calls you make during your office hours; cut down on the amount of medical records you dictate and sign.
