The Congenital Heart Center at Kosair Children's Hospital is home to some of the most advanced diagnostic, surgical and interventional procedures available to diagnose and treat congenital heart defects. At Kosair Children's Hospital, a special team of doctors and nurses cares for children undergoing Norwood procedures. Members of the Norwood team are specially trained to provide care for Norwood patients during the most critical times of the procedure and recovery. The Norwood team meets every other month to ensure that patients are receiving the best and most up-to-date care possible.
