The Addison Jo Blair Cancer Care Center at Kosair Children's Hospital, ranked 21st in the nation by U.S. News & World Report's "Best Children's Hospitals" listing, offers highly advanced cancer treatment options to children fighting all types of cancer. Kosair Children's Hospital is a beacon of hope and healing for the more than 85 children diagnosed with cancer each year and the more than 650 children in ongoing cancer treatments, clinics and follow-ups each year at Kosair Children's Hospital.
Home to a renowned pediatric oncology/hematology and stem cell transplant programs, the Addison Jo Blair Cancer Care Center is the country's oldest continually accredited children's oncology program by the American College of Surgeons' Commission on Cancer (COC), holding accreditation since 1959. As the teaching facility for the University of Louisville School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics and a Magnet-designated hospital recognized for nursing excellence, Kosair Children's Hospital maintains an unwavering dedication to the children of this community and region.
